GENERAL Rental Terms

By taking part in The Dog Line (TDL) Rental plan you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

Payments

Deposit

 Deposit will be deducted from your credit card at the commencement of the rental programme. This will be held for either - refunding on return of the product in good condition – use as a credit towards the purchase of the rental product. – used as payment for late return fees or damages to products.

Rental fees

Rental fees will be applied at the commencement of the rental term. A sum equal to 2 weeks rental can be used towards the purchase price of the product.

Postage costs

Postage will be paid at the commencement of the rental term registered and insured post via Australia post Epost.

RENTAL RETURNS

When returning a product a web-based ‘return form’ should be completed advising TDL Rental that you will be returning the product. You will then be taken off the rental auto responder list.

Registered and insured carrier.

Product returns are the responsibility of the purchaser. The purchaser is liable for the full price of the product should the product fail to be returned. By accepting the rental programme you authorise Pet Systems P/L – The Dog Line to charge your credit card for any loss or damage should the item not be received.

We recommend you return the product via registered and insured post. A signature on arrival will show the safe return. Australia Post offers such a service.

Upon receipt of the product the deposit will be refunded less the cost of any damage, or late fees.

LATE RETURN

A rental fee of $3.50 per day will apply to late returns at the discretion of The Dog Line. By participating in this rental programme you agree to Pet Systems Pty Ltd to apply any late rental fees to your credit card up to the time the product is received at The Dog Line shop.

You also agree that an administration fee will be applied to your credit card at the time of the Failure to return payment.

The amount paid will be the sale price of the product less 2 weeks rental and the deposit paid.

FAILURE TO RETURN

By participating in this rental programme you agree and authorise Pet Systems Pty Ltd t/a The Dog Line; to charge the balance of the purchase price of the product to your credit card should the product not be returned.

DAMAGE

Should the product become damaged in any way you agree that a reasonable amount of money will be deducted from the deposit paid to cover the reduction in re-sale value.

BREAKAGES.

By taking part in this rental programme you take full responsibility for the product and maintaining it in working condition. You agree that should a product become damaged and/or inoperable outside the warranty terms and conditions of the product to be liable for the cost of the product. You authorise Pet Systems Pty Ltd (t/a The Dog Line) to deduct the amount equivalent to the total value of the product less 2 weeks rental fee and the deposit.

CREDIT CARD CHARGES.

By taking part in the TDL Rental Programme you agree and authorise Pet Systems Pty Ltd (t/a The Dog Line) to make charges to your credit card related to Applying payments for the following as required - Rental Fees, Deposits Purchasing the Product, Extending the Rental Period, Late Return Fees, Damage Fees to the Product, Breakage Costs and any Administration Fees applied.

EMAIL CORRESPONDENCE

By choosing to take part in this rental plan you agree to receiving emails related to the rental programme, The TDL newsletter and other correspondence from time to time.

LIABILITY

The general Terms and conditions of Pet Systems also apply to the TDL Rental programme.
All goods remain the property of Pet Systems Pty Ltd t/a The Dog Line and you agree to be liable for it’s timely return, welfare and working condition.

All costs including that of the product, administration fees, late fees, debt collection fees and any other related costs will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
